This policy explains what information the DocPro app, its servers and this website handle, why, how long it's kept, and the choices you have. In short: your documents are processed on your phone. Only a few features send anything to our servers, and we never sell data, show ads or use third-party trackers.
What stays on your phone
Scanning, PDF tools, photo tools, text extraction (OCR), signing your own documents and your saved signatures all run on the device. The files you create live in the app's storage on your phone until you share, save or delete them. We can't see them.
Saved signatures are kept in the app's private storage and are excluded from device backups.
What reaches our servers

To limit abuse we briefly keep rate-limit counters derived from a keyed hash of your IP address or email. They can't be turned back into the original value and expire after at most 24 hours.
Emails we send
If you have an account, we send emails about it: your verification code, a welcome message, password reset links, a notice when your password changes, and a confirmation when your account is deleted. These are part of the service and don't need consent.
We only send news and offers if you've opted in. Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time in Settings › News and offers by email.
People you send documents to
When you send a document for signature, you give us the recipient's name and email address so we can email them a signing link. Please only send documents to people who expect them. Recipients don't need an account. Their typed name and drawn signature are stamped onto the document, and an audit page records who signed and when.
Purchases
DocPro Pro is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment, and we never see your card details. The app checks with Google Play whether you own Pro.
Who helps us run DocPro
We use a small number of service providers, only to run DocPro and only on our behalf:
- Railway: hosts our servers and database.
- Resend: sends account, signing and contact emails.
- Cloudflare: hosts and protects this website.
- Google Play: app distribution and purchases.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We disclose information only if the law requires it.
Security
All traffic between the app, this website and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and signing links and session tokens are stored only as hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to the minimum the features need.
Your choices and rights
- Use DocPro without an account. Every tool works without one; an account is only needed to send documents for signature.
- Turn off usage counts, crash reports and news and offers in Settings.
- Delete your account in the app (Settings › Delete account) or by request on our account deletion page. This removes your account, sessions and signature requests from our servers.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information through our contact form.
Files saved on your phone or shared elsewhere are under your control and aren't affected by deleting your account.
Children
DocPro isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
